The formations in many areas resemble life forms of extinct animals, such as mastodons and various sea creatures. Often one can sense the presence of souls no longer occupying our earth, in both animal and human form. At times they seem to be communicating with spirit, trying to convey an important learning to those who would only listen.

Gary has been a writer/photographer for over thirty years. Specializing in nature and landscape photography, while studying native cultures.

His travels have taken him to most of the United States, as well as Australia, Belize, Egypt and the Canary Islands.

He has studied the Mayan culture of Central America and the aborigines of

Australia. Photography has given him the opportunity to observe life in various parts of the world.

He has observed that many of the forgotten cultures had spiritual beliefs that were stronger than ours in modern times.

While we have advanced technically far superior to those that came before us, we have lagged behind in spiritual knowledge.

For us to advance as the human race, we need to combine the spiritual knowledge of those that came before us, not only that of the ancients but the knowledge of our direct ancestors as well, with the technical knowledge we have today for us to propel into the twenty-first century and beyond.

He has published several books about his adventures.

Sedona Beginnings

Art Prints

Written by Gary Wonning

Sedona had rather humble beginnings, settled in the early 20th century, Sedona was named for Sedona Arabella Miller Schnebly.

Sedona was always known for her hospitality and industriousness, her mother ,Amanda Miller claimed to have made the name up because it sounded pretty.

Sedona’s parents were Phillip and Amanda Miller., she married Carl T. Schnebly on her 20th birthday in Gorin, Missouri.

They eventually were the parents of six children. In 1901, they moved to Oak Creek Canyon and after two years of hard labor, they opened the first store, the first hotel, which Sedona ran, the first truck farm and the post office, and so the town began.

Little did anyone know of the mysterious history of the town or the legends that wold surface.

Growing up on a dairy farm in southeastern Indiana, Gary traveled very little until midlife, when the opportunity became available to him.

Grabbing his camera and a bag full of equipment, he began his vision quest traveling to most areas of the United States and several countries abroad.

Along the way he collected several thousand photographs that he wants to share with everyone.

Gary decided the best way to accomplish his goal was to publish photo documentaries on the various areas of the world he has visited.

What will follow will be several photography books, who knows how many will wind up in his collection.

The Mystical Sedona Vortex

The portals of magical Sedona

by Gary Wonning

The four major vortexes in the area are Bell Rock, Airport Mesa, Boynton Canyon, and Cathedral or Castle Rock.

There are many vortexes on earth, but Indian legend states there are four major areas, two positive, Sedona and Kauai, Hawaii and two negative, The Bermuda Triangle, and Sussex County in England.

They are not positive and negative as in good or bad, but as in the poles of a battery. There are no good and bad energy or experiences, those characteristics are only perceived as good or bad by the human mind.

Sedona Arizona: Mysterious Happenings

Written by Gary Wonning

The mysteries of Sedona are endless, and the stories never end,  it sees  everyone has an account of something mysterious that they saw or were a part of while in Sedona.

Roaming the streets and trails of the area, you feel as if you could have an encounter at any moment. There certainly is magic in the air.

There may be a logical explanation for them, but black Apache helicopters are constantly at the small airport on Airport Mesa.

The Apache helicopters are manufactured in nearby Mesa Arizona and could just be on a test run, but, military personnel always man them, so you often wonder what they are doing here, especially with all the paranormal activity that is associated with Sedona.

Out Of Body Experience at Bell Rock

Open new avenues in your spiritual journey

Sometimes we experience something and it is so profound it takes years before we totally understand it.

It can take years for the mind to totally comprehend everything that has transpired so knowledge comes in bits and pieces until the pieces of the puzzle all come together.

Several years ago, during my first visit to Sedona Arizona, I had a UFO, out of body experience, at Bell Rock.

The Bell Rock Vortex

As I drove past the rock,  I felt compelled to stop and spend some time.  Exiting the car I began walking towards the monolith, I  began feeling extremely light and could not feel my body except at the knees.

When I looked up at the top of the vortex, with the intention of taking some photos,  I saw giant sparks leaving the top of the rock. Somehow I realized they were “clumps” of energy entering the atmosphere.

They were actually souls that had arrived from other worlds, they came in through the Bell Rock vortex, a portal, or entryway between dimensions, and formed everything they needed to survive on planet earth. A physical body and a spaceship from the elements on earth so they could take on a physical appearance.

They didn’t travel through space in a UFO, as most assume, they teleported and then accumulated what they needed to survive from the earth’s atmosphere.

A similar event had occurred during my first past life regression several years earlier.

After entering the trance, the first past life I encountered was in ancient Egypt.

I found myself standing on the giant pyramid of Giza, I suddenly felt I was creating my body by drawing elements from the earth.

I didn’t come here on a ship, I teleported and created everything I needed after I arrived on planet earth.

It seems places like the pyramids and Bell Rock are energy sources and portals where we can more easily enter or leave the planet by gaining the necessary elements we need to survive while here.

In that same regression, as I entered the earth I sensed I was going towards the light, a common sensation many feel when they have a near-death experience.

It seems we go towards the light when we reincarnate, just as people report going towards the light when they have a near-death experience.

It is also believed when a  soul passes from a physical existence and returns home, they pass through the light, or as some say, they pass the sun on their way to Home.

Obviously, the light in some way symbolizes our making a transition from one dimension of reality to another.

The Overreach of the Federal Government Through the BLM

Photography Prints

It seems there is  a continuous conflict between the Bureau of Land Management and private citizens.

In the western United States, the BLM owns over sixty percent of the land, and  over ninety percent of Nevada. Most of those lands shouldn’t be controlled by the federal government. There is no legitimate reason why the federal government should control ninety percent of Nevada and over sixty percent of the land in our western states. Most of the land should be under state and local control.

Undoubtedly, some parks and the like should be a national treasure, but not everything is a national treasure.  Much of the land is desolate wasteland and should be under the control of state and local governments, available for purchase by the ordinary citizen. By doing so, the land could be more readily available to everyone. There would still be land use regulations to abide by so that environmentally hazardous facilities could not be constructed.

It has become a big land grab where the rights of private citizens are ignored for  supposedly the protection of our natural resources.  The BLM can come in and use almost any excuse to grab the land from defenseless farmers and rancher. Thereby creating a situation where very few people  in the western United States  will defend the actions of the Bureau of Land Management.

We lived in Sedona Arizona for a time, one of the most beautiful areas on the planet, many think it should be a national park. I don’t necessarily agree, if the National  Park Service owned it, access would be limited and there would be a charge to enter.

People are living there and it is still very beautiful and everyone can enjoy it on a daily basis. It hasn’t been ruined by human habitation, just the opposite. There is nothing on this planet like waking up in the morning, walking out of your hotel or home and seeing some of the most beautiful scenery on the planet or looking up and seeing a zillion stars at night, a little bit of heaven.

They have no street lights in Sedona and it’s like living in the country as soon as the sun goes down.

Contrary to what many in the federal government think, the citizenry is capable of governing themselves and making wise decisions concerning their lives and the environment around them, we don’t need the federal government telling us what to do and how to do it.

Wisdom lost through the ages

There is an extreme shortage of common sense in today’s world, When looking back in history, I soon discovered this has always been a problem, Benjamin Franklin once said, ”Of all the senses, common sense seems to be the one that is used the least.”

As simple as it may seem, many seem to be totally oblivious to it. Most if not all of the problems the world faces today could be solved if people would just sit back and think about what would seem to be the most obvious and simple solution to any issue. Often times people tend to over complicate the issues, when an easy and simple solution would be obvious.
