Diversity At All Costs

Wisdom lost through the ages, common sense is no longer common.

Written by Gary Wonning

There was a segment on last night’s news and regretfully  I don’t remember what the subject was, and  regardless of what  the topic may or may not have been about, my main point here the topic is irrelevant.

I do  remember thinking it was rather absurd that people would think in such a way,

At the end of the segment, the news commentator said, “It may not seem like the right thing to do, but at least it proves we are open to diversity.

Is that the only concern we have in today’s society?  Does humanity depend on us proving how diverse we all at the expense of doing what is right?

Does that mean it is OK to let people enter our country without any regard as to why they want to come here?

Regardless of what some may think, many are coming here to disrupt if not destroy our way of life.

Is it OK to think there are fifty-seven different genders, just to promote equality and diversity?

I assume we are supposed to ignore the facts of life and just pat ourselves on the back for being understanding and diverse.

I assume we are supposed to throw all common sense and reason out the window for the sake of diversity.

It has been said the political correctness could be the downfall of our country, I’m starting to see how that could become a reality.

Do we abandon all sense of reality and reason, while giving up our basic core values all in the sake of diversity?

Does anyone realize where that could lead?

At the present time, we have social sites banning speech that they hate, instead of hate speech. It’s all about letting what they believe, or they think they believe, decide what is best for everyone.

We are Americans, we can think for ourselves, we don’t need the news or social websites telling us what to believe.

Many times it isn’t even what they believe, it is what someone else told them to believe.

Gary has been a writer/photographer for over thirty years. Specializing in nature and landscape photography, while studying native cultures.

His travels have taken him to most of the United States, as well as Australia, Belize, Egypt and the Canary Islands.

He has studied the Mayan culture of Central America and the aborigines of

Australia. Photography has given him the opportunity to observe life in various parts of the world.

He has observed that many of the forgotten cultures had spiritual beliefs that were stronger than ours in modern times.

In technology, we have made advances far superior to those that came before us, but, we have lagged behind in gaining or maintaining our spiritual knowledge.

For us to advance as the human race, we need to combine the spiritual knowledge of those that came before us, not only that of the ancients but the knowledge of our direct ancestors as well, with the technical knowledge we have today for us to propel into the twenty-first century and beyond.

He has published several books about his adventures, and is available for book signings, and speaking engagements.
