Should We Give Reparations To Those Discriminated Against

Wisdom lost through the ages, common sense is no longer common.

There is a new drive to give African Americans reparations for the slavery they endured for centuries.

This is just another ploy by the democratic party to add to their voter base.

The democratic party is losing the black vote, after years of loyalty to their party, many blacks are waking up to the fact the democrats don’t really do anything for them, they are just soliciting their votes so they can get reelected.

The democratic party relies on creating victims who depend on them and government for their daily needs, they want to create people who think they can’t survive without the assistance of government.

The black race is just as intelligent as anyone else and are just as capable of creating a successful life as anyone else. They don’t need the government any more than the rest of civilization to give them the life they desire.

In reality, the life the liberals are trying to force upon them will only lead them back to that which they are trying to escape, servitude.

In reality, no slaves are alive today that suffered under that horrible system, and the slaves were first sold into slavery by people of their very own race.

It’s all about the politics.

Why should they receive reparations for something they never encountered, by the same token, no one is alive today who harbored slaves, why should whites, many whose ancestors fought and died to end slavery be forced to pay even more.

My family lived in the north and never owned slaves and was against slavery, should I have to pay?

What many forget is that there were black plantation owners who harbored slaves, American Indians, had slaves, so did the Chinese, many whites were indentured servants,  Indians tortured Indians, Blacks often times tortured blacks, where does it end?

In many case, as have been proven by the Australian Aborigines  were given much to compensate for the atrocities of the Australian government. Many of them  have become bitter and often resent what was given them and become jealous because they perceive someone else received more, and then themselves want more, they become dissatisfied and bitter. and in the process become more dependent on government, and less willing and able to support themselves and their families.

The best thing we can do is to remember the past, don’t dwell on it, we have all been discriminated against and treated unfairly many times in our lives, it is called a leaning experience, time to move on.

Lets give people a hand up, not a hand out, teach them to succeed by the sweat of their brow, all races can succeed in America.

It’s the American way.

Gary has been a writer/photographer for over thirty years. Specializing in nature and landscape photography, while studying native cultures.

His travels have taken him to most of the United States, as well as Australia, Belize, Egypt and the Canary Islands.

He has studied the Mayan culture of Central America and the aborigines of

Australia. Photography has given him the opportunity to observe life in various parts of the world.

He has observed that many of the forgotten cultures had spiritual beliefs that were stronger than ours in modern times.

In technology, we have made advances far superior to those that came before us, but, we have lagged behind in gaining or maintaining our spiritual knowledge.

For us to advance as the human race, we need to combine the spiritual knowledge of those that came before us, not only that of the ancients but the knowledge of our direct ancestors as well, with the technical knowledge we have today for us to propel into the twenty-first century and beyond.

He has published several books about his adventures.
