The Church Needs To Begin Teaching About the God Within Instead of the God Without

Wisdom lost through the ages, common sense is no longer common.

Written by Gary Wonning

It is time humanity learns to listen to their own inner self or knowledge rather than always relying on someone or something else .

If nothing else, all the fake news circulating today should have taught us that we can’t really believe anything anyone tells us, and we can only believe  about half of what we see.

Many church leaders have the same agenda as most politicians, they want to keep us under their control, the last thing they want is for us to begin thinking on our own and use our own common sense instead of listening to them.

We have all the knowledge and answers we need right within our own heart, its called intuition.

When facing difficult decisions in life there isn’t anyone who can tell us what we need to do, they can only give advice, it is the God within who has all the answers.

The common go to  answer that religious figures give when asked why bad things happen to good people is , its “God’s Will”, that is a non answer, most people today aren’t satisfied with that answer. They want real answers, not some one else’s truth , their own truth and that truth can only come from within.

It is often asked why church attendance has fallen off, one of the reasons is that we don’t get satisfactory answers to our questions, and many them turn to other sources, or resort to drugs and alcohol  for an alternative.

We need to learn to discover, on an individual level, why these so called bad things happen to us, it is only then we can turn those issues into something positive in our lives.

It is only when we discover the God within us, can we reunite it with the God without to cause positive change in our lives.

Gary has been a writer/photographer for over thirty years. Specializing in nature and landscape photography, while studying native cultures.

His travels have taken him to most of the United States, as well as Australia, Belize, Egypt and the Canary Islands.

He has studied the Mayan culture of Central America and the aborigines of

Australia. Photography has given him the opportunity to observe life in various parts of the world.

He has observed that many of the forgotten cultures had spiritual beliefs that were stronger than ours in modern times.

In technology, we have made advances far superior to those that came before us, but, we have lagged behind in gaining or maintaining our spiritual knowledge.

For us to advance as the human race, we need to combine the spiritual knowledge of those that came before us, not only that of the ancients but the knowledge of our direct ancestors as well, with the technical knowledge we have today for us to propel into the twenty-first century and beyond.

He has published several books about his adventures.

  1. I have heard people who are in a cult say the reason they joined the cult is because they asked serious questions of pastors and preachers and none could answer them. If one claims to be called by God to preach in a church, then they need to be prepared to give answers. They need to be able to rightly divide the word of Truth.
