Exchanging Fear With Faith

Written by :Gary Wonning

In today’s world people have been taught to fear.

The daily barrage of negative news and  the constant reminding of people of all the things that can happen in this world has made most everyone  fearmongers.

People are afraid to go outside alone, let their kids play in the streets, or to go in the sun without SPF 80 sunscreen.

You see kids wearing more protective gear riding their bicycles than Evil Kenival wore when jumping the Snake River.

We are deluged with fear on an hourly basis.

As we think, we grow, constantly thinking about fear and all the things that can harm us only breeds more of the same.

The only way to break out of this cycle is to once again think the way our creator wished for us to live, walking in faith.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

We all have had instances in life where we think God has let us down, in reality, God was only testing our faith and strengthing our resolve to face the challenges of life. If it doens’t kill you, it makes you stronger.

We once again need to renew our trust in a Supreme Being and believe that everything will turn out the way it was meant, quit worrying and enjoy life.
