Thomas Jefferson Never Fathered any Children Outside of Marriage

Another excerpt from David Barton’s book, Jefferson Lies, sets the record straight.

Our examination of historical primary source documents has proven that the picture of Jefferson’s faith and morals painted by critics today is often wrong:  DNA evidence has not proved that Jefferson fathered any children outside of his marriage to Martha.

His moral reputation was attacked two centuries ago by enemies making what they knew were vindictive but groundless charges, attempting to besmirch him during a presidential election. Jefferson, acknowledging that God knew the truth, regularly appealed to Him as his judge on this issue. He longed for the time when the Great Judge would clear him of any moral wrong-doing and prove the accusations false.

There is an extreme shortage of common sense in today’s world, When looking back in history, I soon discovered this has always been a problem, Benjamin Franklin once said, ”Of all the senses, common sense seems to be the one that is used the least.”

As simple as it may seem, many seem to be totally oblivious to it. Most if not all of the problems the world faces today could be solved if people would just sit back and think about what would seem to be the most obvious and simple solution to any issue. Often times people tend to over complicate the issues when an easy and simple solution would be obvious.

Available in paperback, Kindle, and other ebook formats.
