Change your thoughts, change your life

The most important lesson one needs to learn is we all have free will in everything we do. It has more to do  than choosing to have a hot fudge sundae instead of a banana split. The rules of free will are unchanging and apply to every phase of our life. The scope and effect the decision can have on our life doesn’t matter, it is a universal law.Big or small, the end  result is the same.

Many assume our life is determined before birth and we cannot change the hard times we encounter. Many think they are under the control of others and there is nothing they can do about it. Even though we do have events in our life that come along where we theoretically have no control over, on some level of consciousness, we volunteer for everything that comes our way.

brook

 We think we have no control over these events,nothing can be farther from the  truth. Those thoughts are nothing but a cop out, an easy way out. The mess  we’ve gotten ourselves into isn’t as important as how we solve the issues and the  lessons we learn in the process of getting out of it. Everything happens for a  reason , we just need to learn from the experience and go on with life.

 At times we are in situations where we are trapped in a place we don’t want to  be, and sometimes there is karma to fulfill. These times don’t last forever ,and  are only teaching moments to help us realize we don’t have to be trapped forever by karma or our past actions.

Whatever our life circumstance, on some level of consciousness, we agreed to travel the path we are on. It’s all about the lessons learned and evolving past those so called negative experiences.

Often times the moments in time are only reminders that for every action there is a reaction and a consequence.Once the lesson is learned or relearned, karma is released and we are free to go on our way.

We chose our life’s journey before birth, there is always a general outline we , along with the souls we are going to journey through life together, determine. But it is only an outline, we can accomplish more or less than our destiny. However, I feel if we don’t accomplish our life goal we will be extremely dissatisfied and will not be happy.

Many times this leads to discontent, addiction, and abuse. When we are on our way to accomplishing our life mission, or more, we will be extremely content and happy.

The time we spend on Schoolhouse Earth is a gigantic opportunity afforded to us, an opportunity to advance spiritually  as well as emotionally and physically. Even though we may feel we are stuck and not doing anything productive, no time is ever wasted.

Many times, when we feel stuck or bored, we are just in a holding pattern and patiently waiting for our next life journey to begin. The closer that new journey is to fruition , the more anxious and frustrated we may become. It is at this point in time we need to remember we are entering a new phase of life, to be patient and know that soon we will once again be on our path to further enlightenment.

It is at this time we need to remind ourselves of what we actually want in life, especially where relationships and careers are concerned. We need to focus on the final outcome and remember to not become distracted because of a seemingly easier or more convenient path. All the while remembering the universe may have a better path in mind for us than we could ever imagine.

It is at this time we need to remember we do have free will and we can change our destiny at anytime if we feel deep down there is a better option being presented to us than we had imagined.

Nothing is written in stone, it may be we have advanced spiritually more than we previously imagined and we can skip a previously envisioned experience and move on to a more enlightened adventure.

In creating our destiny and exercising our free will, we need to be reminded that every thought we have creates our future, every random thought.  It’s like we are praying constantly. Thoughts create words and words create actions and actions create reality.

We need to be constantly aware of our thoughts and if we find ourselves slipping into negative thinking, this is the time to pause and retrain our mind to think in a more positive way. We have free will and can change our thoughts instantly, change your thoughts and change your life.

There is an extreme shortage of common sense in today’s world, When looking back in history, I soon discovered this has always been a problem, Benjamin Franklin once said, ”Of all the senses, common sense seems to be the one that is used the least.” As obvious as it may seem, many seem to be totally oblivious to it. Most, if not all of the problems the world faces today could be solved if people would just sit back and think about what would seem to be the most obvious and simple solution to any issue. Often times people tend to over complicate the issues. I often think back to what my parents and grandparents believed and said, at the time I thought they were totally out of their mind and ignored it. I now wish I would have listened and followed their advice. It is now evident they were a lot smarter than we gave them credit for. Many times, in today’s world, the schools and universities can no longer be counted on to teach truth and values that will guide someone through life.

Entering a New Dimension of Consciousness

Photography Prints

I have believed for quite some time that our DNA is being activated into a new awareness.

Hopi and other American Indian shamans as well as myself believe we are moving into a time when we will chose a future of doom and gloom or an era of a new beginning, a new frequency, or a new dimension of existence where we will become more intuitive and able to understand the motives of others and possibly reconnect with beings of other dimensions.

As we move into this new reality, many of us will experience symptoms that will tell the discerning soul they are indeed moving to a heightened awareness.

I seem to be experiencing most of the symptoms they are describing, although some may move into this new era and display no symptoms at all. Alas, some may have real physical diseases that should be checked out by a doctor. Proceed at your own discretion.

The following symptoms were noted in Shirley Maclaine’s new book,”What If?”

  1. Headaches or nonlocalized pressure in the head;
  1. Shifting or unstable vision; Perhaps the cessation of the karma of the last twenty-six thousand years will enable us to begin again without fear. History will definitely need a new script, and all of us— humans and star

beings, extraterrestrial actors— will have a chance to play our part

  1. Requiring one pair of glasses one day and a different pair the next;
  1. A deepening sense of the ability to “see”;

  1. Sleep pattern interruptions;
  1. Feelings that you are going crazy, losing your mind, or an inability to focus;
  1. Emotional tenderness, mood swings, and “mania”;
  1. An embracing of unity consciousness;
  1. Heightened sensitivity to smell, sound, and

taste, or change in eating preferences;

  1. Losing track of “time”;
  1. Physically dropping or bumping into things;
  1. Hearing high-pitched tones or a series of tones or pressure in one or both ears;
  1. Spiritual death or brief suicidal thoughts; Headaches or nonlocalized pressure in the head;
  1. A heightened sense of not being in the present, or a sense of detachment;
  1. A general sense of “free-flowing” energy that can often manifest and be misinterpreted as anxiety;
  1. Jolts of energy that are felt physically and often will move the body;
  1. Lack of focus and attention for any length of time;
  1. Heightened, newfound discomfort with some public environments;
  1. A sudden urge to make everything spacious, to release personal treasures, or to remove clutter from your environment;
  1. Heartburn or chest pressure;
  1. Attraction to new colors;
  1. Change in priorities in your career/ relationships;  and
  1. A feeling of time “moving fast.”

Enlightenment

At this period of time in the history of man, there is probably more individual searching being done into the theories behind the origin of the human race,what happens after death,the possibility of life on other planets, and what our relationship is to these life forms, if they do exist. There are millions of people who are questioning the existence of God, who he really is, and what is my relationship with him? Is he someone who mysteriously floats around on a cloud watching and judging us from above like some bigger than life Santa Claus, or is he, like many of the esoteric sciences claim, a part of our inner Self, whom we have constant contact with, someone whom we and everything in the universe are connected and are thus one? Each of us in our own way is experiencing what God is, and thus we are each a part of God, thus we are God! This book is a brief account of my search for my own truth as I know it today, everything stated actually happened, according to my own perception. It has been an exciting search,at times very frustrating, very rewarding, and above all, very fulfilling. My main purpose in writing this book is to show that anyone, even a bashful unfamous country boy can have these awakenings, you don’t have to be rich or well-known to find your connection to Divine Source. I began taking notes for this book over thirty years ago, at the time, writing a book was the farthest thing from my mind. My only thought was to have a journal to read over when I got older. As a result, I didn’t  record some of my references, many of the references were from Aboriginal and Mayan elders themselves, many of which has been the victim of the ravages of time. Hence my book is short on references, but long on experience.

Our International Friends

America’s Friends on the World Scene

Sometimes there is a moment in time that defines one’s thoughts for the rest of your life. These moments come suddenly and often pass before we realize what just happened.

One such event occurred the evening of November 3rd,2014 the night before the 2014 elections.

We were cruising on the MSC Divina, an Italian cruise ship, along with approximately 3700 other passengers.

An international cruise, Americans were definitely in the minority.  It was rare to even hear anyone speaking English. I would guess there were only about 30% of the passengers who were Americans.

The entertainment for the evening in the theater was to be Simply Italian. A program featuring all the popular songs of Italy.

To say the Italians are proud of their culture and country would be an understatement.

Near the end of the program, the vocalist suddenly began singing “The Star Spangled Banner.”

I looked around and most people seemed to be puzzled.

Suddenly one person stood up and placed her hand over her heart. Then another, and another. I turned and looked around the auditorium.

There were probably close to 1,500 people in the theater, all were standing. Everyone had their hand over their heart and singing our national anthem. Italians, South Americans, people from India, the middle east, and Europe all joined the singing.

As the song drew to a close, the standing ovation must have gone on for over two minutes.

Among the Americans, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

For the next few days, every American on board I talked with was appreciative of what had happened. Most had a small tear in their eye while discussing it.

This event refreshed my memory to a similar instance several years ago.

I was traveling in the outback of Australia, and since I had been mostly isolated from society for almost a month, I had forgotten what day it was.

Traveling with a group of tourists in a small bus of twenty-five, including the fair skinned, freckle-faced, redheaded, Irish, Aborigine, driver, we entered the small town of Daly Waters in the Northern Territory. We more than doubled the population since the official population of the small village was only seventeen. I just did some research on the village, it now boasts a population of 18, so they gained one!

As we entered the town, we passed a small abandoned airfield with a C-47 parked at the end of the runway. I thought it interesting that the aircraft had U.S. markings on it.

As we entered the pub, it was full of people celebrating, far more people than the seventeen that lived there.

It was the middle of the week and the middle of the day, so we inquired as to what the celebration was all about.

One older bloke replies,”It’s the fourth of July, and we are celebrating and appreciate what the United States did for us during WW2.”

I hadn’t known this, but Japan actually attacked Australia, Darwin in particular. The air base in Daly Waters defended the area and help prevent more attacks from the enemy.

In spite of the fact that the Aussie’s are always looking for a reason to party and have a good time, there was real appreciation in their eyes. There was more to it than just looking for a reason to party, and as was always the case in the land down under, once they found we were Americans, they always were appreciative and wanted to learn more about our country. I found they were very politically informed, often knowing more about our country than we did.It was always hard to leave such an atmosphere.

That evening,our bus driver bought fireworks somewhere and set them off in the parking lot.

We have real friends “Down Under.”

Everywhere I’ve gone, I’ve found most people have nothing but admiration and respect for the United States.Most look up to us for guidance and support. Many countries want to do it on their own but lack the knowledge and wherewithal  to go it alone.

They don’t all hate us like the media and the left try to tell us.

The Sharks know best

Two great white sharks swimming in the ocean spied the floating survivors of a sunken ship.

“Follow me, son,” the Dad shark said to the Son shark. They swam to the mass of people.

“First,” the Dad shark instructs, “we swim around them a few times with just the tip of our dorsal fin showing.”

“Like this, Dad?” the younger shark asks.

“Well done, Son! Next we swim around them a few more times with all of our dorsal fin showing.”

“OK,” the boy says, really getting into it.

“And only now do we eat everybody.”

And they did, eating all the terrified humans.

When they were both fully sated and gorged, the Son shark asked Dad shark, “Gee, Dad, why didn’t we just eat them all right away? Why did we have to swim around and around them in circles first?”

Well, Son,” the wise Dad shark replied, “because they taste a whole lot better without all that crap inside!”
