Fulfilling your Life’s Purpose

Fulfilling one’s life purpose can at times be challenging. Many times there are challenges that keep us from reaching our highest potential. Many times our biggest obstacles come from within our selves.

Often times the largest obstacle we face is focusing on what we really want. In today’s modern world we all have a lot of choices concerning what we can, want and need to do. It is often forgotten, but we do have a life mission, and if that mission isn’t completed we will never be happy and content.

Here are a couple of ways to help you get started in joyfully fulfilling your life purpose:

You need to get really clear on what you want in life, what is your main goal and purpose in life?  What is it you were really sent here to do? Sometimes this is the most difficult question to discern. Many times, as we travel through life our goals and mission can change. As certain mile markers in life are reached, our life changes and we need to reassess where we are going.

If you are having an issue deciding which way to turn , go within, meditate and or pray. All answers in life come from within, we have the answer waiting in our heart. Quiet your mind from all distractions and the answer will be given to you. It can come in various ways, there isn’t always a loud booming voice that tells us what to do. In fact most times the answer will be subtle and we need to be ready and alert to receive it.

Many times the actions of others or an opportunity will arise out of nowhere , this will be our clue to pursue our mission.

Remember, you can do more than one thing at a time, sometimes our goals can be multifaceted and can lead to more than one objective. Even if this is true there is always one main objective and this should be kept in mind at all times so as to not lose our focus.

At this time, it is important to remember to focus on your strengths, what are you really good at? What have you been doing all your life. It is all interrelated, although your life may change, it will still follow a basic plan. Quit doing the things you don’t like or are not good at, to keep pursuing these interests has a negative effect on everything you do.

And above all, listen to your heart, even if your heart is telling you one thing and all conventional wisdom tells you something else, follow your heart, it has a hot line to your soul and is telling you the path to follow.
