Australian Outback; Every Thing revolves around the Pub

As one gallivants around various parts of the Australian outback,it doesn't take long to realize that life in these tiny hamlets revolve around the pub. Every town has one, most outback  villages are really small with a total population of 25 or less. So every evening the population of the town and the surrounding bush congregate at the pub for a longie and a game of pool.
Things can get a little rowdy in these parts, the men are men, and so are the women. You probably have noticed objects hanging from the ceiling. Those items are women's under wear, women love to play pool,however if they loose a game, they are required to hang their underwear from the ceiling. I never had the opportunity to observe this ,however I understand at lot of them don't bother to go in the other room to remove them.
