This is as good as it gets in the outback! A pub, with a gathering of all your closest friends every evening, shrimp on the barbie, excellent restroom facilities, ( see building in back!)and your own personal swag, which enables a front row seat for viewing the Southern Cross.
Four fun filled evenings were spent here during my walkabout, listening to tribal elders, fellow travelers, locals, and drunks all spinning their stories! (The tribal elders, were believable!)
After a full day of attending the Corrobrees, it was always a treat to come back to our humble abode , pop open a frostie, enjoy dinner and listen to whatever "crock" the topic of conversation was for the evening. There was always a large crowd, standing room only, I guess this was the only place for miles, and the TV reception couldn't have been very good.
