Winter Wonderland!!?
I just received an email from a friend living in Indiana describing how it took him several hours to thaw out his wife's car this morning, she had a high priority baby shower to attend!!!
I guess the weather is below freezing and with a recent ice storm, the doors were rather difficult to open.
Having lived there for the first half of my life I can relate to what he is going through, however the longer I am removed from that terrifying experience the more my memory fades.
Living in Florida one forgets what is going on up north, the land that global warming forgot. Traveling to Delray Beach twice and Cape Coral once this week, my only concern was that the A/C on the car would not quit working!
Traveling up and down I-75, where most of the cars have out of state license plates this year, I assume there are many people also trying to escape the frigid temperatures up north.
Many people really like it where the weather is cold, and I understand that, more power to them, if that is what they want ,then that is where they should be. That is why the planet has so many different climates.
But for me , give me a Mudslide and a burger to enjoy while sitting at a beach side Tiki Hut, I'll be perfectly content to watch the latest blizzard on TV!
