Experience A Modern Day Walkabout!!

Directly across the road from Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock is one of the most prominent landmarks in the Verde Valley,  a parking area near the base gives one a chance to take in the once in a lifetime view. 

The area has been improved in recent years , several hiking trails have been built to accommodate the experienced as well as inexperienced hikers.

One is on his own if hiking to the top, it is relatively easy until the upper level is reached, from there only the experienced climber should proceed. Regardless of how far one goes, the view is spectacular and is well worth the effort!

There are many legends concerning the "magic" powers associated with the Bell Rock Vortex.
 
If you are bent to this perspective, a vortex is a swirling concentration of energy emanating from the earth that can produce a number of attributes. 

Various people experience different sensations, from past life recall, UFO visitations,  and healings, while most people sense nothing at all.

Rather you experience anything or not, it is a beautiful formation and is only the beginning of the visual treat about to be seen while traveling in the Sedona area.
