What are they thinking?

I was reading a statistic today that stated  people are moving out of the blue states (California is actually losing population,) because of high taxes, crime ,etc, and moving into red states because of the lower cost of living and less crime .

The problem is when these people vote, they vote for the same issues, tax increases, that brought the problems to they states  they moved from.

HELLO, am I missing something here? Don't people ever learn, I've always heard that the height of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

If you are going to do that , please stay where you are, don't screw up my life.

Wow, your blog hit me like a 2x4 to the head! I never thought of that. Where did you get that statistic from? I would really like to see it.
I think we can drill-down the statistic even further. People leave California (any liberal states) because the high taxes on business (AKA "The Rich") so the businesses leave and take their JOBS with them. People leave the state when they cannot find a job. They take their liberal ideology with them. Much like a cancer. In my opinion, safety is either a local issue, or a non-issue per se. The variability in safety is the ability of the person to increase their safety by moving to a different community that is a "safer" community in which they can afford to live in, and is still a reasonable distance from....wait for it...where they WORK.
Again, thanks for the blog! It never occurred to me, yet it makes so much sense. And in these times of Blue-states turning red, or purple states turning "redder" this is an important factor for GOP strategist to understand.
