Mariner of the Seas

Recently we and the pleasure of sailing on  The Mariner of the Seas , one of the finest ship afloat, it is 105,000 tons of enjoyment , with it's ice skating rink, rock climbing wall, and miniature golf course, there is always something to do.

Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas is unique in that instead of individual stores it has incorporated a shopping area in the center of the ship that resembles a city street.

On each side of the promenade they have individual cabins that look like apartments looking down on the shopping area.

It really is an interesting concept, however we were disappointed because there is very little drawer space in the cabin and we wound up living out of our suitcase all week, next time we are going back to a balcony cabin.

The small quarters were soon forgotten because of the amazing Ports of Call!

Our Eastern Caribbean cruise included visits to Coco  Caye, St. Thomas, where were took in the sights at Megan's Bay and Blackbeard's Castle.

Then it was on to St. Martin and the beautiful sands of Orient Beach.
